Halloween

Better late than never - here are pics from Halloween.

We picked a rainy evening to carve the pumpkins. We did it in the garage to keep the mess to a minimum. The kids were very excited about carving.

That lasted for maybe 10 minutes. Soon it was just Scott out in the garage carving the pumpkins. The kids became distracted with other activities and bored with the process of removing the seeds.
Here are Scott's finished products. Isaac did choose the W for one of the pumpkins - Go Huskies!
Our friends Madison and Megan came over for trick-or-treating. We had a Dorothy, a flower girl princess, Candy Corn, and a football player. It was a perfect evening for walking around the neighborhood. We enjoyed being out and have continued to enjoy the haul from that night!
Go Huskies! If there is another kid as obsessed a team, I would love to meet him/her. Isaac can't get enough of anything Husky. He is looking forward to the Apple Cup. If the Huskies win, his principal (a cougar), has to wear Husky Gear for the whole day. We will see . .
