Isaac's 7th Birthday

Isaac's 7th Birthday was a weekend-long event. We had a great time!

It started on Friday at school. Saraya and I joined him for lunch and brought him the requested snickerdoodles to share with the class. The class sang him the birthday song and his teacher game him special attention. (I should also mention that a month ago he got glasses which he loves to wear and looks very handsome in.)

That evening we made cupcakes for the party. The theme was UW so we made purple and yellow cupcakes.
Saturday morning we had his requested breakfast - french toast. Then he and Scott went off to their second baseball practice. When he came home, we opened some more presents.

This was a big hit - a NY Giants uniform.
Then off to the YMCA for the big bash. It was a lot of fun. The boys spent most of their time in the pit - jumping, throwing, wrestling. Some of us adults also jumped in - very fun!

Saraya and Berkley loved playing together - they are such great friends.

Our neighbor Madi came along to be my helper - she was great!








The fun continued after with Berkley and Aiden coming over for dinner and a sleep-over. Because it was our first nice day in a long time, they all played outside for quite awhile. They were settled down and asleep by 9:45 so I felt it was successful. It was a great day for Isaac!
