Halloween

Isaac had a fun Halloween. He had decided a few weeks ago that he wanted to be Elmo and we found a cute costume. Just by coincidence his friend Brooke had a similar Cookie Monster costume. Here they are at a Halloween party they went to at the YMCA on the day before Halloween.


On the big night, Isaac and his friend (and our neighbor) Olivia went trick-or-treating together. It was really cute. They would knock on the door and start yelling trick-or-treat before the door was even open. They had a fun time. After several houses, we came back home and handed out candy. We had lot of visitors and almost ran out of candy.



The second part of our Halloween story is that Isaac put bubbles down the toilet. Not just the liquid, he actually put a container of bubbles down. So, 4 trips to the hardware store, two friends helping, and 1 week later we are still unable to use the toilet. We are hoping that one more trip to the store and one more night and we will have it fixed. The bubbles are out, we just need to get the toilet back on and get it to stop leaking! Wasn't the best timing, but neither was the hernia - so we are just dealing with it all! (Scott is doing better, although still not 100%. He will be back to work on Tues.)
