Summer Fun

We had a fun Fourth of July weekend. We went to Eugene, OR for a family wedding. The fun started at Aunt Pat and Uncle Marc's house on Friday where we had a BBQ. They have a great big yard with lots for a three year-old to explore. He spent most of that afternoon running laps around the property and swinging on the rope swing. Isaac and I watched a few fireworks that night, but didn't make it too long and we were all asleep by 10pm. On Saturday we visited a Farmer's market and then it was time for the wedding party. It was an outdoor, kid-friendly event, and Isaac had a blast. He ran all over the place with a pack of kids and even showed off some of his dance moves. We drove home yesterday and he was able to get a good car nap in to recover from the weekend's events.
As you can see, just like when he sleeps in his bed he likes to cover himself with his things.

Back at home - here the kids are playing train together. A rare moment when Isaac didn't get upset that Saraya was touching his train.

No pictures from the wedding?

That picture of Isaac is hilarious! Kid apparently likes things dark when he's sleeping.
