This weekend we went to our old stomping grounds - Spokane. We love visiting there. We have some good friends that we enjoy seeing and we have many special places we also love to go. It was a great weekend with perfect weather!
We stayed downtown within walking distance of our favorite restaurants and one of our favorite places - River Park.
We spent lots of time walking around and playing in this area.
Walking along the river.
Looking at the waterfalls.
Playing on the blocks.
The kids did some rides. Here is our brave girl doing the airplane ride all by herself!
The kids also did the carousel ride downtown. We missed the big 100 year anniversary which will be next weekend. I remember doing this ride as a kid - it was fun seeing my kids experience it.
My good friend Stephanie and new Baby Mitchell.

Our favorite park is Manito park. It is so pretty and we enjoyed walking around and looking at all the gardens.

The Rose Garden.
The Japanese Garden.

This is the big flower garden. It is amazing. Scott proposed to me 10 years ago at the fountain in the middle of the park so this will always be a special place for us!

And of course there was a lot of time in our pool. Look at Isaac swimming by himself. Over the course of three days he became so much more comfortable in the pool and his life jacket.

What a fun trip! I especially love Saraya's little smile that looks so much like Isaac's! Keep staying cool in the hot weather gang!
looks like fun. Long time to see. We need to get Brooke and Isaac together for a play date!:)
What great pics ! I remember when Scott lived in the apartment across from the Park ! The kids are sooooooo cute and so is my son ... but don't tell him I said that! LOL LOL Sweet Family!!
looks like a lot of fun!
I can't believe it's been 10 years since he proposed! Fun pictures. I kind of think Saraya reminds me of Grandma Ruth - might just be the hair though :)
