Halloween

We had a great Halloween season this year.  Isaac got a lot of use out of his Scooby Doo costume which we got in early Oct. and he wore almost every day, even taking naps in it.

Last week was a busy week for both of the kids.  Isaac went with Brooke and Jodi to the YMCA on Wed. where the kids got to go around trick-or-treating at various places in the building, and then they had free-time in the gym.   I was very proud to hear that Isaac said thank-you at almost every stop.  What a great kid!
On Thursday it was a Halloween party at preschool so again, Brooke and Isaac got to wear their costumes.  Then on Friday, Isaac went back to the YMCA, this time with Brian, for more trick-or-treating and fun.  Friday night we went over to a friend's house who hosted a pre-Halloween party.  More fun, more sugar and more costume time.  (Saraya also was able to wear her costume on Friday when the toddlers went trick-or-treating around Sumner High.)

Finally - the big night!!  We had some friends come over and the men took the kids out while us ladies stayed warm inside.
Scott said our new neighborhood was great for trick-or-treating.  There was even a haunted garage!  They all had so much fun.  Saturday Halloweens are the best!

On a side note, Saraya is potty training.

You wouldn't know it from the picture but she has been doing great!  She has gone accident-free a few days and most days only has one or two.  She is quite proud of herself.
