We did our first hike of the summer on Saturday. It was perfect weather - sunny and warm with clear views of the mountain. We chose a 5 mile loop that started out pretty steep. Isaac did a great job and complained very little about the tough trail. Saraya spent 3/4 of the hike in the backpack, but really wanted to be walking like Big Brother. With little legs, stopping for many rests, lunch, and throwing rocks into every creek we passed, the hike took us about 3 and a half hours. It was a lot of fun, though!
