We have had several opportunities to have fun with our friends Aiden and Berkley this summer. Several new adventures.
One was when Tracy and I took the four kids camping by ourselves! It ended up being very fun and the kids did great!
Aiden and Isaac found this great fort (aka stump) in the woods. This was the boy's secret hide-out. Not secret for very long.

Dinner time! Hotdogs are yummy.
We made a fire!!! This was my concern - could we get a fire started? We did it and the s'mores were fabulous.
Did a little hike which ended with throwing lots of rocks into the river. Fun stuff.
Now that we know that worked - we will do it again next summer for sure!Another fun outing was our trip to Seattle. The kids and I took the Sounder train from Puyallup, Tracy and her kids took the water taxi over from Alki. We met at the Aquarium.

These are great pictures, Kathryn. We had a lot of fun, too. Its so great that we have the summers off to do fun things together with the kids. We can't wait for next year.
