This Thanksgiving the whole family, along with our good friends, the Perkins, participated in Kennewick's Turkey Trot. There was the 5k or 1 mile option and 18 of us did one or the other on this beautiful morning.
I was planning that at least Saraya would want to do the 1 mile with Grandma and Grandpa, but both her and Isaac chose to do the 5k. It was Isaac's second time doing this distance, but Saraya had never done it before.

Here is Saraya! She did great. Michelle, Saraya and I stayed together the whole time and did little spurts of running and little breaks of walking. She didn't complain at all!
The rest of the Thanksgiving weekend was really nice. The family group was a little smaller this year for a variety of reasons, but we all enjoyed ourselves and the family time.
