Halloween Fun

We had a great Halloween, which seemed to be an especially long holiday season this year. It started a few weeks ago when we were "Booed." This consisted of our doorbell ringing one night with no one there when we answered the door - just a small bag with treats and a note telling us we had been "booed." The directions were that we were supposed to share the Boo with three other houses, or face the wrath. While we were looking the package over, the doorbell rang again and once more, we were booed! Two times in one night. Well, we put together some goodies and Isaac and I did some ringing and running. Isaac loved it and we were not caught.
Here are the kids in their costumes.

On Thurs. Isaac had a Halloween party at his preschool. They got to wear their costumes minus their masks. At the end of school, they walked over to Mrs. Spencers' house and trick-or-treated. Then the lucky guy got to have a Halloween party with some of his friends.

On Friday, Saraya went trick-or-treating at her school. Her daycare is located in a high school and the teachers took all the kids around the high school. Saraya and her friend LiLee rode around in a wagon as they visited the principals, several teachers, and lots of high school girls. My friend (LiLee's mom) and I were able to get over there to watch and walk with the group. Then we took the girls and brought them over to our office where they were a huge hit.
Finally, Friday night. Saraya, Isaac and I visited two families in our neighborhood, my friend Jill, and then our old neighbor on our way to our Halloween party. We had a fun get together with a couple other families. The dads took the kids trick-or-treating and us moms enjoyed a few minutes of adult time (in between trick-or-treaters).

It was a fun holiday.
