Gingerbread Party

On Saturday the kids and I went to a Gingerbread House Party. We were all looking forward to making our house. Unfortunately, something went wrong and the roof collapsed. Up until then we thought it looked great!

Here is the house after it had collapsed.
One for the house, one for my mouth.
Looking Good!
And being that two little girls lived at the house, Isaac had a lot of fun dressing up in princess dresses. Thank you to Berkley and Lauren for sharing your nice clothes!

On another exciting note, on Sunday night we had our church Christmas play. Isaac was a lion and had one line, "Is he the King of the Jungle like we thought?" At church that morning, Isaac got a case of stage fright and would not perform the one teaser song for the congregation. We were not sure what the evening would bring. Yeah! Peer pressure worked in this case. Lots of kids came up to him and told him they wanted him to be in the play. He did excellent. He sang all of the songs, did all of the movements, and said his one line flawlessly. He did great and he also had a lot of fun.
