Christmas

We had a great Christmas once again. It was so nice to have the whole week before Christmas off from school and work. We relaxed, saw some friends, and got ready for the big day.
Feeling very crafty I had them make candy houses out of graham crackers and old halloween candy. It was fun and the houses actually stayed standing for a couple days.

I also made sugar cookies with them, but somewhere along the way lost time and motivation to frost them. We have them in our freezer - maybe some day in January we will pull them out for an afternoon activity.
We were happy to have Grandma and Grandpa Chasse come over to celebrate with us again. They came over on Thurs. which worked out perfectly so I could run 20 miles on the 24th while Scott went to work. The absolute perfect way to start a holiday weekend!!

The kids finally earned all their presents back after loosing them a week before Christmas. Each day they made good choices and didn't fight with each other they got to put a couple back under the tree. It was close, but the last presents were in place Christmas Eve.

Isaac would have gone to bed at 7pm if we let him. He was so excited to fall asleep so Santa could come. Amazingly they were both asleep by 9:30 which made it a much earlier night than I was expecting.
They were so excited to see that Santa had come in the morning. Here they are with their prizes from Santa - Justin Bieber and a doll house.
They both received many other fun presents and lots of nice clothes. It was a fun morning for us all.
Isaac LOVES JB.
New legos.
New hats.
A Christmas nap under a new blanket makes the day perfect!!!
We hope all our family and friends also had great holidays!
