First Day of School 2012

Another school year has begun!  The kids were both very excited to see their friends and meet the new teachers.  

Saraya started first.  She is at a new school - Husky Pups.  The preschool is in a brand new school and is so beautiful!  She has a lot of her same friends from Little Phins.  The big new change for her is the style of this preschool - Saraya and her friends are there all day, but two groups of preschool students join for part of the day.  One group in the morning and one group in the afternoon.  These students are developmentally or physically delayed and benefit from seeing and interacting with students like Saraya.  And Saraya and her friends will learn so much about acceptance and differences.  There are many teachers in the class throughout the day and neither of us know who they all are yet!  She is happy and enjoying it so far, though.  

 She literally said at this point, "I am going to like this school!"

 She LOVES the dollhouse.

 Isaac's first day was the next day.  Both Scott and I were able to take him to school.  He was nervous, but very excited.

He was a little disappointed that none of his really great friends were in his class, but I know he will make some new friends.  So far Second Grade seems to be going well!!
