Saraya's excitement about her big girl bed lasted almost a week. She is now just as excited about the fact that she can get in and out as much as she wants, which ends up being a lot at bedtime. One night we found her playing in Isaac's room as he slept soundly in his bed. In the picture below you will see her reading a book as Isaac is snoring.
Two nights ago I told her no more big girl bed and that she had to go back to sleeping in her crib. Less than a minute after I left her room, she had climbed out of her crib and was heading for Isaac's room. That was the first time she had ever climbed out of her crib!
We have resolved to putting a lock on her door, removing all her toys, and dismantling the crib.
In addition to the rough bedtimes, she has now taken to early mornings - hopping out of bed when it is still dark outside. Fun times.
Word of advice to the other parents - leave the kids in the crib!!!
